Lautoka wins CVC Series Title

Lautoka football team were crowned the champions of the Pillay’s Garments Champion versus Champion Series yesterday. The Blues held Ba to a nil­ all draw in the second leg to win first Trophy of the season. Lautoka won the opening leg one­nil which helped them win the title in front of their home crowd. The side received five thousand dollars prize money while Ba settled for Two Thousand five hundred dollars. Meanwhile Labasa will feature in next season’s CVC after winning the IDC last year.

They will take on the Vodafone Premier League champions of this season.
